The AMD Ryzen 5 7500F is supposedly the first AMD AM5 CPU that does not feature integrated graphics. This is not something new, Intel already sells its CPU without integrated graphics at a slight discount and this could be the case with the AMD Ryzen 5 7500F as well. While it will most likely be cheaper, it is on par with the Ryzen 7600 in terms of performance and the specifications are very similar as well.

AMD Ryzen 5 7500F Could Be The Next Best Mid-Range CPU

The AMD Ryzen 5 7500F is a 6-core CPU that has a base clock speed of 3.7 GHz, which is slightly lower than the Ryzen 7600. Both CPUs have the same amount of L2 and L3 cache and even have the same stepping and wattage. The major difference is that while the 7600 comes with integrated Radeon graphics, the 7500F does not.

We even have the Geekbench scores for the AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, but these should be taken with a grain of salt since this CPU is not out yet and Geekbench is not the most ideal or consistent benchmark to compare performance numbers.

The 7500F scores 2782 points in the single-core test and 13323 points in the multi-core test. The AMD Ryzen 5 7600 manages to score 2884 and 13059 respectively. The test also shows that the 7500F is able to boost to 4848 MHz, which is not bad.

These are pre-release numbers and this is not the ideal test for comparison, so we can expect to see better performance at launch. While AMD has not provided any pricing or availability, Tom’s Hardware claims that these new CPUs will be launched at the end of the month and that they will be exclusively available in China only. Whether or not that is true, only time will tell.

Let us know what you think about the Ryzen 5 7500F and whether or not you would be interested in getting an AMD AM5 CPU without an integrated GPU if it came at a lower cost.
